About Us

After many years operating within the constantly evolving lighting and electrical industry, the company’s stockholders decided to form Competitive Electric and Lighting. Our mission was to develop a Southern Californian electrical and lighting company that would offer professional, knowledgeable, innovative, courteous and honest service. Since the opening of Competitive Electric and Lighting, we have grown 100 percent every year.

Most recently, federal energy reduction mandates associated with California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (CA Title-24) have created many industry opportunities for expansion and diversity. The advanced lighting technologies used to achieve these space-type defined, lighting power-density requirements set forth in CA Title-24 require an understanding of application-specific, solid-state lighting solutions. With the addition of a Design and Specification department at CE, we have been afforded the opportunity to generate and define energy-efficient, CA Title-24-compliant solutions for our commercial and industrial clientele.
